Background

The members of Monash Country Club have approved a new course master plan designed by Bob Harrison. Work commenced in November 2012 with all construction being undertaken by the club's own staff. Most importantly the plan stipulates that members will always be playing 18 holes of golf throughout the development phase.

Bob Harrison has designed highly regarded courses such as Ellerston, Moonah at The National, Brookwater, The Grand, The Vintage, and the Glades - all of these in the Top 50 courses in Australian plus many more internationally. He is excited about this project because Monash has such exceptional natural beauty that it will capture all golf lovers hearts and minds.

"The Monash landscape is a very attractive one, heavily oriented towards natural Australian bushland. It would make no sense at all to attempt to change the nature of this landscape. On the other hand, it would make very good sense to continue to expose large areas of the natural rock features, which the Club has done over the last couple of years." Bob Harrison
